Boise, IDAHO (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Rainbow Warrior basketball team collected a rare road win Thursday night. The bows, playing without guard Zane Johnson and forward Trevor Wiseman, handed Boise State a 73-66 loss to improve to 13-9 (4-6 in WAC) this season. Hawaii's Bill Amis led UH with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks as the Bows shot 58 percent from the field (27-46) while holding the Broncos to just 41 percent shooting on their home floor.
Backup point guard Miah Ostrowski followed a break out game against Utah State by logging 37 minutes and pouring in 12 points and 8 assists. Ostrowski was one of four Bows who had double-digit points, Joston Thomas had 16 points and 9 boards while Vander Joaquim added 11 points and 12 rebounds.
UH will stay on the road for a game at Idaho on Saturday at 5:05 pm (HST).
