Honolulu (HawaiiNewsNow) – In the series finale, The University of Hawaii baseball team (2-2) was defeated by Oregon, 4-3. The game was shortened to eight innings due to travel plans by the Ducks, as agreed by both teams.
Kolten Wong and Collin Bennett each collected two hits to lead the 'Bows, with Wong adding one run and Bennett posting one RBI.
The 'Bows threatened in the seventh inning as they cut the lead to 4-3, but left the bases loaded.
The Rainbows host No. 7 Texas in a three game series beginning Friday. The teams will play February 25, 26, and 27.
