Honolulu (HawaiiNewsNow) – The No. 8 Warrior Volleyball team upset No. 1 USC (22-25, 25-22, 15-25, 25-20, 15-10) in 5 sets at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Jonas Umlauft led Hawaii with 26 kills and Josh Walker added 19 as UH keeps their dreams of hosting an MPSF playoff match alive.

It was just the 2^nd loss of the season for USC as the Warriors improved to 15-11 (13-8 in MPSF), and remained in 4^th place of the conference standings.

Both teams meet again Saturday night at 7pm, the match can be seen live on K5.
