Honolulu (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Rainbow Wahine softball team outlasted WAC leader New Mexico State for a 3-2 win in 10-innings Friday night.
Stephanie Ricketts survived the marathon earning the complete game victory while striking out 10, walking seven, and giving up 2 runs on six hits.
Alex Aguirre was the offensive hero, driving in the winning run with a base hit to right-centerfield with the bases loaded.
The Bows improve to 31-16 (9-7 WAC). Both teams will play in a double header Saturday.
