HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Former University of Hawaii athletics director Herman Frazier has signed on with Syracuse University.

He'll serve as the university's deputy athletics director and chief of staff.

Frazier received a lot of heat in Hawaii for the termination of Rainbow Warrior Basketball Coach Riley Wallace, the UH football schedule, the departure of June Jones and the athletics department's budget.
