HFD crews respond to Waialua Sugar Mill fire

WAIALUA (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu firefighters put out a blaze behind the Waialua Sugar Mill Tuesday afternoon.

The fire broke just after 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at 67-313 Kealohanui Street.

HFD says someone was burning trash about 1000 yards behind the sugar mill when the flames set large tractor tires on fire.

The fire also burnt a shipping container in the area.
